Iran Valiasr street, commercial artery with cultural significance

As one the most stretched-out streets in the Middle East, Iran Valiasr Street is a hub of different social and commercial activities.

The tree-lined street is named after one of the titles for 12th Muslim Imam, Imam Mahdi.

Valiasr runs from Tehran's railway station in the south of the capital to Tajrish square in the north.

The lengthy street is lined with very many commercial centers, shops, restaurants, theaters and museums as well as parks (such as Mellat Park) and hotels.
